Ice Pops

30 × 30 inches . . . . . acrylic on canvas, 2026

What’s a better summer memory from childhood than the challenge of keeping your frozen treat from dropping to the sidewalk? How can you get that drip that wants to flow all the way down to your elbow, and not miss any of the sweet flavor? These three children in the bright sun with the fountain’s water in the background was an image I just knew I wanted to paint.

This painting was exhibited at the Edmonds (Washington) Arts Festival in June 2026.
