This painting appeared in the “Spring Renewal” show at Artists in Action in 2024. This show’s theme of renewal brought to mind seeing the first snowdrops in the city park near the creek. Those bright green sprouts pushed up through the ground, and tiny white flowers were just opening up their blossoms, right next to last season’s leaf which was decomposing.
