30 × 30 inches . . . . . acrylic on cradled birch panel, 2026

Two of my nieces were having a great time singing on Grandma’s sofa, and she captured the image on an Instamatic slide. I can still hear these girls playing and singing in the basement, but the best I could do visually was to represent the song with the musical notes. Hum along if you read music!

The two girls are grown up now, and moms themselves.

The original painting will be shown at the 2026 Westminster Fine Arts Festival in Salem, Oregon, October 16-18, 2026. Please come see the painting in person if you can!
