Stella Below the Waterfall

36x36 inches . . . . . acrylic on canvas, 2026

On a trip with my brother and his family near Yosemite, his daughter cooled her feet in the water just below a waterfall. The sunlight on her, on the rocks, and on the water was beautiful. I was intrigued by the effect of the sunlight and water on the partially-exposed rocks.
